What is Sovaldi (Sofosbuvir)?

It is recommended with some combination of ribavirin, simeprevir, ledipasivir, velpatasvir, or daclatasvir to maximize effectiveness.  Sovaldi is the brand name of Sofosbuvir and is available under the name Hepcinat.

How does Sovaldi work?

Classified as an HCV NS5B polymerase inhibitor, sofosbuvir helps inhibit the virus from replicating in the liver, keeping the disease from causing more problems and allowing the liver to heal.
